"Structures
in and from which ideas flow and evolve freely,
constantly changing and fluctuating." Fluid Architecture,
created in 2002 by Lucy Orta is an
online platform recording the process of the collaborative
workshops and projects. The interface serves as a canopy
for forums, workshops, virtual project tours and theoretical
discussions for creative practitioners and non-professional
occupying simultaneous virtual and physical spaces in different
geographic locations.
We invite you to unbuckle the Fluid Architecture origami,
discover a narrative of people, places, projects and sounds
and contribute to the process. One surface fold is linked
to another as one dynamic is linked to the interwoven whole.
Fluid Architecture deliberately challenges the traditional
concept of authorship, questioning the role of the artist
as the work is enhanced and expanded by a range of contributors. |
